Lake Cargelligo is a small rural town packed with entrepreneurial spirit. Located in Central West New South Wales, the town is situated beside a picturesque lake and the place Durotank is proud to call home. It’s also home to a selection of industries and farming for which having readily available fuel is essential for productivity.
Durotank were approached by Ray Carruthers a local merino sheep and produce farmer interested in making his upcoming harvest season more efficient. Ray was after a robust fuel trailer that could handle long drives between properties, carry adequate fuel and that was dependable in tough terrain. In addition, Ray needed a trailer that could house and protect his hoses and pumps in hot, dusty and challenging conditions.

JONES DARRIWELL PARTNERSHIP PROJECT
WATER TRAILERS FOR FIREFIGHTING AT JONES DARRIWELL PARTNERSHIP
Jones Darriwell Partnership is a well-known local breeder of top line Merino Sheep situated in the Trundle township in central west NSW. Their 3 farm properties are utilised for breeding and managing their top line sheep stud, alongside grain production to feed the stud. With substantial acreage and much of the property encompassing remote locations, firefighting is an essential consideration in the unlikely event of a fire breaking out on the property. The task for controlling the initial blaze falls on the team themselves whilst they await back up from the rural fire services to takeover firefighting and containment. With warmer days on the way, Lloyd at Jones Darriwell reached out to Durotank for the supply of 3 water trailers to assist with fire defence.
