Challenge – Truflo builds dewatering pumps that keep mining operations running, where downtime simply isn't an option. Wet season is when they matter most; if a site floods and the pumps go down, production stops with it. Truflo needed a reliable way to keep those pumps fed with diesel, including on sites where a fuel truck simply can't get in. For those sites, they needed trailers that could be taken off-site, refilled and brought straight back.
Solution – We have been supplying Truflo pumps our diesel trailers and self bunded diesel tanks since 2014.
Outcome – Truflo has kept coming back for over ten years. They know what they're getting: equipment that holds up and doesn't need chasing. It lets them pair their pump sets with fuel supply they don't have to worry about.

Challenge – Allied Pumps supply complete water package pumping, storage and treatment solutions. This sometimes means moving water long distances. They needed a diesel tank to run their pump set and generator.
Solution – A 33,000L self-bunded diesel tank from Durotank delivered the fuel storage they needed to keep operations running.
Outcome – Allied continues to rely on Durotank for reliable Smart Cubes and Smart Tanks that support their operations.

Challenge – Spread over 7 stations and 3,000km, some sites had to run off-grid. Kidman needed fuel tracking across diesel, ULP and Avgas tanks, with no room for guesswork on remote country.
Solution – Durotank matched sites requirements on sizes, pending diesel, ULP or avgas. All paired with pumping equipment suitable for the fuel type they were storing.
Outcome - Durotank supplied over 20 units across all 7 stations, equipment with suitable pumping arrangements and delivered each directly to site.

Challenge – Timberfix supply all sorts of construction and building supplies, from their workshops direct to customers site/doorsteps. They run an express delivery service that requires trucks to be filled and ready to go every morning across Sydney, Blue mountains, Central Coast, South Coast, Regional NSW, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold coast and throughout Brisbane. They needed a reliable setup that wouldn’t fail them and their premium service they supply.
Solution – Durotank offered them a 33,000L smart tank, 100 LPM pump and the Smartfill fuel management system. We only pair our reliable products with reliable accessories.
Outcome – Timberfix was extremely happy with our service, and the end product they received. They know their premium product won’t let them down.

The Journey Begins - 2006
Jerrod and Darryl finished their welding apprenticeships and started an Australian fabrication company which soon evolved into Durotank, established at 9 Grace Street, Lake Cargelligo, NSW
Innovation Takes Shape - 2009
Built the first DuroCube, then moved into Diesel Cubes and Trailers. This is where we started building fuel storage around what customers actually needed, not just what was on the shelf.
Building Bigger Solutions - 2010
We built our first larger diesel tank, which were called Duro Static Tanks, later evolving into the current Smart Tank range (10kl-150kl tanks).
Expanding the Range - 2012
Customers kept asking for more, so we built our first service trailer. We also switched our paint from cat yellow to white.
A Bigger Home - 2014
Moved to Canada Street, giving us 1400sq/m of Factory and 6000sq/m of yard, where we set up our own blast and paint booth.
The Smart Cube Arrives - 2016
Added the Smart Cube to the range - a stationary self bunded (double-walled) fuel storage system built for construction, mining and agricultural sites. This was introduced to complement the Duro Cube transport range
Built for Growth - 2019
Outgrew the Canada St premises, so we moved to West Street into a new purpose-built manufacturing facility with 4200sq/m under roof alongside extra yard space.
Meeting New Industry Needs - 2020
Introduced diesel and AdBlue trailers and tanks, helping clients meet Australian standards.
Going Digital - 2022
Launched a new e-commerce website to help our customers easily navigate our product range.
Most Remote Order - 2023
We also completed our most remote order yet, delivering to Kidman and Co in remote NT.
Finance Made Simple - 2024
Launched Durotank Finance to help simplify the process for short-term and long-term business finance options for our clients.
Industry First Launch - 2025
Launched the Original Petrol Pod 350L, giving on-site petrol storage for the agriculture industry, sporting clubs, golf clubs and workshops.

Challenge – Tamworth Regional Council approached Durotank looking for 6 new diesel trailers for their branch, each in a different colour. Â
Solution – We supplied six of our 2,000L Durotanker trailers, painted red, yellow, white, orange, green and blue.
Outcome – Tamworth Regional Council were happy to proceed with an Australian build product over an imported trailer, which would need to be stripped and repainted in their required colours. Supporting Australian Made is a big council focus and we are glad to tick that box.Â

Challenge – Auswide hires out civil equipment and needed a way to service their own excavators and gear out in the field. It had to be tough and reliable — no room for downtime.
Solution – We supplied a complete service unit including compressor to run the pumps. Plus, new oil and waste oil systems complete with pumps, reels and nozzles.
Outcome – 14 years on, the unit is still going strong.

Challenge – Over the period we have been building diesel tanks and trailers, Kelton have purchased multiple units from us. They needed something on the go to refuel their assets on site, including a Diesel/AdBlue tank at the depot to keep everything topped up before it leaves and a slip on/off water tank on a skid frame.
Solution – We offered a Durotanker Trailer to help make refuelling on site a breeze. Our 33,000L Diesel AdBlue tank to keep all their new and older assets full before leaving the yard and a slip-on water cart, for dust suppression and firefighting.

Challenge – United Rentals brings trusted hire brands like Orange Hire, Civil Construction Hire, Shore Hire, Royal Wolf and Alfasi Hire under the one banner – United Rentals. Over the years these hire companies have come to Durotank for many different customer requirements. Orange hire needed a partner to build their poly and steel water tankers for civil construction. They needed a unit that could be custom built to whatever truck they had purchased and fit right correctly.
Solution – Durotank developed a poly and steel design that could be modified to suit whichever truck was delivered by Orange Hire. Along with Durotanker trailers, cubes and poly water trailers.
Outcome – Durotank have supplied a wide range of products to united Rentals over the 14+ years we have been partnering with them.

Challenge – VTG needed 3 tanks for waste oil. They wanted customer signage and custom paint colours. The tanks needed a sump point in the floor, so waste could be pushed to one spot for a thorough clean-out. With no power on site, they also needed the ability to pump waste oil into the collection/disposal tank using a pump that could handle 1-inch solids within the waste oil.
Solution – Durotank designed and manufactured 3 smart tanks to the customer requirements. All 3 tanks had a sump indent in the floor, while keeping with the self bunded classification and all custom ports as requested. We supplied a 10hp trash pump to handle solids and the waste oil.
Outcome – One happy customer.
