Trade-In Old Storage Fuel Tank Program Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility
This trade-in program is open to customers who own an eligible old storage fuel tank that they wish to trade in for a discount or credit toward the purchase of a new Durotank fuel storage tank.
The trade-in is applicable only to select tank models as specified by Durotank.
Tanks must meet the eligibility requirements, including age, condition, and size, as outlined in these terms.
2. Condition of the Trade-In Tank
The trade-in tank must be in working condition and free from significant structural damage, such as leaks or extensive corrosion.
Tanks that have been improperly maintained, are heavily damaged, or fail to meet safety standards may not be eligible for the program.
All residual fuel must be safely drained and disposed of according to local environmental regulations before the tank is traded in.
The customer must provide accurate details about the condition and capacity of the trade-in tank. Any discrepancies found may result in the cancellation of the trade-in offer.
3. Ownership Verification
The customer must provide proof of ownership of the old fuel tank, such as an original purchase receipt, utility bill, or official documentation that verifies ownership.
The customer must certify that the trade-in tank is not subject to any loans or third-party ownership claims.
4. Inspection and Approval
A representative from Durotank may inspect the trade-in tank before approval to verify its eligibility and condition.
Inspections may include an on-site visit to assess the tank or requesting photos and documentation that clearly show the condition and details of the tank.
Durotank reserves the right to reject any trade-in that does not meet the eligibility criteria after inspection.
5. Trade-In Value
The value of the trade-in tank will be determined based on its condition, capacity, and market value. The final trade-in credit will be applied to the purchase of a new Durotank fuel storage tank.
The trade-in value may vary depending on the model of the new tank being purchased and any current promotions.
Trade-in credits cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to previous purchases.
6. Purchase of New Durotank Fuel Tank
The customer must purchase a new fuel storage tank from Durotank to qualify for the trade-in program. The trade-in credit will be applied at the time of purchase.
The new tank purchase must meet a minimum value requirement, which will be specified by Durotank.
The customer is responsible for any remaining balance after the trade-in credit is applied.
7. Removal and Disposal of the Old Tank
The customer is responsible for ensuring the old tank is safely removed and prepared for trade-in. Durotank may offer removal services for an additional fee.
The removal and disposal of the old tank must comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding the handling and disposal of fuel storage tanks.
Any costs associated with the removal, transportation, and disposal of the old tank that are not covered by Durotank must be borne by the customer.
8. Liability and Safety
Durotank is not liable for any damage, loss, or injury that occurs during the removal or trade-in process of the old tank.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all removal and trade-in activities are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Durotank reserves the right to refuse trade-in services if safety concerns are identified during the process.
9. Program Duration
The trade-in program is available for a limited time only (The offer ends on 20th December, 2024). Durotank reserves the right to modify, extend, or terminate the program at any time without prior notice.
Trade-in submissions must be completed within the specified program dates to be eligible for the credit or discount.
10. Modification of Terms
Durotank reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Customers are advised to review the terms before participating in the program.
Any changes to the terms will be posted on Durotank’s website, and it is the customer's responsibility to stay informed of any updates.
11. Disqualification
Durotank reserves the right to disqualify any customer from the trade-in program if any of these terms and conditions are violated, if false information is provided, or if the tank is deemed ineligible after inspection.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales (NSW), Australia. Any disputes arising from this program will be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts in NSW.
