Duro Cube Solutions for McDonald’s restaurants
Meadows Family Restaurants own a series of McDonald’s franchises across Rosemeadow, Glenquarie, Campbelltown, Moorebank, Liverpool South and Casula. They approached Durotank for a mobile fuel storage solution that could assist with their business operations. The tank needed to be transportable across their venues with specifications around ULP fuel including a manual pump. Having a range of locations for refuelling meant the bulk fuel storage container needed to be fully transportable whilst maintaining maximum safety standards to ensure no spillage or leakage of fuel at an on-site commercial food location.
Durotank’s entire range of tanks and trailers are made in Australia to Australian standards and so can be easily modified to suit requirements. The team was aware that the unit required must be mobile and easily transported with no spacing limitations. They suggested the 500L Duro Cube as the best solution. It was equipped with a manual pump and 3m hose to facilitate simple mobile refuelling. Durotank’s Duro Cubes feature a self bunded double wall to ensure there is no spillage and a baffle for transportation. They are fitted with 4-way forklift pockets for easy lift and shift access allowing for ease of movement between McDonald franchise restaurants. The unit was customised for ULP fuel as per the original specifications.
Being 100% Australian made it straightforward to build and customise the Duro Cube, streamlining the process of design, manufacturing and delivery. For owner Peter Meadows, having fully-manufactured Australian made products added another dimension of satisfaction to the ordering process. In fact, when he discovered his own familiarity with our manufacturing location Lake Cargelligo he was thrilled, as he spent time in the area previously.
